I ran 7.2 miles from home, up Old Calaveras, and then found a lake after running around randomly. Then, I ran back. Since I was all the way up Old Calaveras, the views coming back were pretty equivalent to those at Mission Peak. Now I have my own alternative to Mission Peak right in my back yard!
